Chef Noom is an acclaimed Thai chef known for his modern interpretation of authentic Thai cuisine, bringing together traditional flavours, refined techniques and contemporary presentation.

FULL BIOGRAPHY

Chef Noom’s culinary journey began in the United Kingdom, where he gained valuable experience at renowned Thai restaurants including Blue Elephant and Thai Square in London, as well as Michelin Guide establishments such as Zuma, Momo, Sketch and restaurants led by Gordon Ramsay. These experiences helped shape his disciplined approach to modern Thai cuisine.

After returning to Thailand, Chef Noom gained national recognition through appearances on Iron Chef Thailand and Kitchen Wars Thailand. He has also shared his experience with the next generation of culinary talent as a chef coach on Star Chef Thailand.

In 2017, Chef Noom founded Chim by Siam Wisdom, a restaurant that went on to receive Michelin-star recognition for multiple consecutive years, establishing itself as one of Thailand’s respected destinations for refined Thai dining.

In 2026, Chef Noom appeared as a judge on Hidden Taste Thailand Presented by Lotus’s, a nationwide cooking competition featuring more than 100 professional chefs and passionate home cooks. Built around the innovative “From Screen to Plate” concept, selected dishes from the programme were developed for customers to experience at Lotus’s stores across Thailand.

Chef Noom also joined the judging panel for the programme’s final round, where the remaining contestants faced their greatest culinary challenge under intense pressure. His participation reflects his respected position within Thailand’s culinary industry and his continued commitment to recognising and developing new cooking talent.

With more than 30 years of culinary experience, Chef Noom remains deeply committed to preserving Thailand’s culinary heritage while presenting it through refined techniques and contemporary dining experiences. Chef Noom served as a judge on Hidden Taste Thailand Presented by Lotus’s, a nationwide cooking competition featuring more than 100 contestants—from restaurant chefs to passionate home cooks across Thailand.

Built around the innovative “From Screen to Plate” concept, the programme transformed selected competition dishes into real menu items available at Lotus’s stores nationwide. Chef Noom brought his decades of culinary experience to the judging panel, evaluating flavour, technique, creativity and each contestant’s ability to express their culinary identity.

From the opening rounds to the grand finale, Chef Noom helped guide the competition in its search for Thailand’s next outstanding culinary talent. In the final, Chef Noom and Chef Nick were required to reach a unanimous decision before naming the programme’s first champion, who received a THB 1 million prize.
